This CD contains Free and Open Source Software Office (FOSS). Feel free to copy and distribute is as you like. You do NOT need to buy any license. Included are Office tools, WEB Browser, Mail client, IRC and Imaging software. This is only a a very small set of tools that the Open Source Community has to offer. More than 10.000 different applications are available and updated on regular basis for free. Some are excellent and even beat any existing commercial solutions.

With Open Source Software you have the freedom to

  * run the program, for any purpose (freedom 0).
  * study how the program works, and adapt it to your needs (freedom 1).
  * redistribute copies so that you can help your neighbor (freedom 2).
  * improve the program, and release your improvements to the public, so that the whole community benefits (freedom 3).

With Open Source Software you may run your computer solely with Free software by using an Open Source operating system like for example GNU/Linux.

Free Office package, including a Word processor, a Spreadsheet, a Presentation software, etc.

Free language dictionnaries for Open Office. Available languages are : en, fr, de, es ,sk, etc. (about ? in total)

Unzip the dictionaries then use the Dictionary Installer.

Free web-tools package including a browser, a mail and news client, a website editor, etc.

Free image manipulation tool.

Free SSH client: secure file transfert and connection tool.

Free Zip tool to compress and/or archive files.
