Hello,
I had a connection problem with router (Zyxel prestige 650H) after to be connected under
windows, for an unknown reason configuration parameters were modified and then I have to
reinitialize the hardware and reconfigurate it (with ancien parameters such as key for
wep, etc) but after, while connection works normally under windows, this works not at all
under linux!!I have a laptop which run under mandriva2007, wireless liaison is assumed
with ndiswrapper and list of interfaces gives:

network card is Broadcom BCM4318 AirForceOne 54g, but when I doing ifup eth1 (interface
used for wireless access) I have as answer: "no link found; check cable?"; I
have similar problem with another laptop running under suse10: no mean to obtain an normal
IP adress and then any link for the access.
Any suggestion?

Try a ifdown before you do ifup. This might resetting the card. I have
experienced that sometimes cards become an unstable state and behave
strangely.

under mandriva2007 I've completely loss the interface for wireless access and
I'm unable to reconfigurate it with ndiswrapper
nevertheless it works correctly under windows!! (but what a punishment)

isn't able to turn it on.
I experienced also problems with a card with a native Linux driver. I
think that Wireless is a little bit tricky.
Nevertheless, I have no problems with a D-Link pci card.
